Virtual Care Services

It is not always possible to go into the doctor’s office for a visit. Maybe it is the middle of night, or a weekend, or at a time when you are unable to take time away from work. To make sure that NWPP plan participants have access to high-quality care whenever and wherever they may need it, NWPP offers Teladoc® virtual care at no cost.

Secure, on-demand, quality care whenever and wherever you need it.

Teladoc® offers around-the-clock access to board-certified and licensed physicians or pediatricians who can resolve common medical issues over the phone or video chat. This confidential medical service is available to all NWPP active plan participants and covered family members at no additional costs.

Your Teladoc doctor can help diagnose and treat acute, non-emergent medical issues that may arise such as:

  • Cold and flu
  • Bronchitis
  • Sore throat
  • UTI
  • Rashes
  • Fever
  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Headaches
  • And much more!

Just like at an in-person appointment, your Teladoc doctor will discuss your medical issue with you, recommend a diagnosis and treatment, and prescribe necessary medications or tests. Any medications, treatments or tests you may need following your free phone or video chat consultation are subject to your regular plan benefits, for which you could have some out-of-pocket costs.
